In this exercise, I learned the basics of the pen tool. First I learned how to make completely straight lines, by holding down shift, pen lines are completely straight. I also learned to de-select the line, all I have to do is Command click to start on my next line. I learned how to create curved lines with the anchors and handles. Handles are used to pull the line up and down, and by putting them at different places, curved lines can be created. With practice on multiple lines, I have a good understanding of the basic parts of the pen tool. 

This is my completed pen tool maze. From this project, I have learned much more about the pen tool and how to use it. I have practiced a lot more and have gotten better with the pen tool. I learned how to make big curves with just one pen stroke, and how to edit them. I used all the different shortcuts and tools. Such as using option to break handles, and command to de-select the line. Overall, I think I did well on this project, and it really improved my skill with the pen tool.
